Three women were gang-raped in front of their Husband and Children in Haryana

Three women in Haryana’s Panipat district were gang raped by a group of four masked men in the presence of their family members. The accused men, armed with pistols and knives, barged into the house where the three families reside around 1 a.m. The three women were 24, 25, and 25 years old, respectively. According to the police, the men fled after taking money and jewellery. The women claimed that the accused bound their husbands and children with ropes while they slept inside, then raped the three women. The police said that the same group of men robbed a man of Rs 5,000 while fleeing the village. Police have opened an investigation, had the women medically examined, and initiated the investigation.

In a historic move, the Lok Sabha passed the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ or the Women’s Reservation Bill on September 20. Amending the Constitution to grant one-third of the reservation to women in both the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies is a significant milestone achieved 27 years after the introduction of the Women's Reservation Bill in Parliament.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the passage of the bill as "historic legislation" that will substantially increase women's participation in the political arena. He expressed his gratitude to the Lok Sabha members via social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) for supporting this long-awaited reform.
This groundbreaking development marks a significant step towards gender parity in India's political landscape, creating an environment where women can play an even more prominent role in shaping the nation's future. The bill's passage signifies a commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity in the Indian democratic process.
 

Teen's Suicide pranks turn deadly in UP, Blind Mother’s attempt to Save Fails

A suicide prank by a 13-year-old boy went too far when he was playing with a noose which accidentally got tightened around his neck, leading to his death. The teen’s mother, who is blind failed to save him. Jayesh, the teen while playing had put a piece of cloth over his eyes and a noose around his neck. The rope was tied to a window. The teen was playing with his younger siblings. The boy was sitting at a table and fell down. The other siblings thought that Jayesh was still in the act until they saw blood coming out from his nose and mouth. The neighbours arrived a few minutes after the dreadful act. Jayesh’s mother was heard saying if she had been able to see, her kid would not have died.

Canada-based Punjabi singer Shubh was ready to perform in Mumbai from the 23rd to the 25th of September. However, he has faced a significant backlash in India due to accusations that he supports separatist Khalistanis. Canada-based Punjabi singer Shubhneet Singh, popularly known as Shubh, faces huge backlash before his scheduled concert in Mumbai. Additionally, he was about to have a three-month-long tour in India, with shows planned in other cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad and New Delhi. However, Shubh has come under the spotlight in India due to accusations of his support for separatist Khalistanis.

The controversy surrounding Shubh has led to a crucial public outcry and fight over his alleged actions, especially about Khalistan separatism.


Twenty-sixth minor student suicide in Kota raises concern

Rajasthan’s Kota has once again come under public glare with the news of the death of another student. This is the second case in the last two weeks, and the 26th this year. According, to the main inquiry, the police said the girl, who is a minor, took poison. The reason is yet unknown.  As per the Police, the student was a citizen of Uttar Pradesh’s Mau area. Two days back, the 15-year-old student, was preparing for NEET. She committed suicide by hanging herself in Rajasthan’s Kota.
