Man kills woman with iron rod for rejecting marriage proposal in South Delhi
In South Delhi, a 23-year-old woman was killed for denying a marriage proposal. The killer used an iron rod to attack the victim in South Delhi’s Malviya Nagar area on 28th July, Friday. The police arrested the accused. The murderer is known to be a 28-year old Irfan, who was a cousin of the victim.
Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal tweeted and bashed the state’s law and urged the Union Home minister to take further steps for this inhuman incident.
Team ‘INDIA’ of opposition MPs to visit Manipur amid all the incidents.
In the presence of the PM, the MPs of the opposition showed a strong protest at both the Houses of Parliament on Thursday. They were dressed in black and demanded a discussion on the Manipur issue.
The members of INDIA alliance stated that they will be sending a delegation of more than 20 MPs to Manipur on Saturday to assess the ground situation and to put the situation in the spotlight for the Centre to take action. The delegation includes MPs like TMC’s Sushmita Dev, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Congress’s Gaurav Gogoi, Manoj Kumar Jha of RJD, JMM’s Mahua Majhi etc.

12-year-old girl assaulted and raped in Madhya Pradesh

A 12-year-old girl was raped on 27th July Thursday, and brutal bitten marks were found in her body as she was admitted to the hospital at the divisional headquarters of Rewa. She was lured by two men who work for a temple trust in Maihar town of Satna District of Madhya Pradesh. The accused Ravindra Kumar Ravi and Atul Bhadoliya were arrested by the state police and were produced in the local court on Friday 28th. They were sent to the judicial custody. MP CM asks the police to take strict action against the accused and provide the girl best medical treatment.
