Early on Thursday morning, a major fire broke out and severely damaged the Eskay Studio’s godown on Baburam Ghosh Road in Kudghat, destroying almost everything stored there; including film rolls, cameras, lights and props. According to the statements issued by the Police, the three and a half hour inferno led to losses worth crores, even though no one was injured.
