They were both accused of the alleged scam associated with state-run school jobs.

Chatterjee and Ganguly were taken from the Alipore court lockup to CBI headquarters at Nizam Palace for questioning.

Former webbed president Kalyanmoy Ganguly told the court that all the signatures on the recruitment letters were scanned signatures and that none of the letters was personally signed by him. 5.      Transportation problems in Barasat and Habra route

With the rising costs of fuel, passengers face yet another dilemma with the lack of public buses on the Barrackpore Habra route. While the fares of public transportation saw a huge increase in numbers, the number of public and private buses on the streets declined steadily. Sources from WBTC reported that due to a lack of machinery and parts, most of the buses are left abandoned in the depot. The huge jump in fuel prices is also a reason for the inability to continue with the buses. Barasat-Digha route is also facing a crisis with the unavailability of buses. Online booking is also closed.

Another depot facing a similar situation is the Habra depot. WBTC sources also stated that for the past one and a half months, the public buses from Habra to Tarapith, Bakkhali, Digha, Durgapur and Asansol were also shut down.
