Director R. Balki is back with his new murder mystery: "Chup", which will officially be released on the 23rd of September. But today there was a special screening of the film in some of the theatres. After watching it in a plex in Acropolis Mall, Kolkata, with a packed audience, JournaPost is more than excited to list some reasons why "Chup" is a must-watch for all.

As it's a crime thriller, we would not talk much about the story, but it is a well-made murder mystery where a serial killer especially targets the film critics. Sunny Deol is back after a long break, in the role of an investigating officer. Although Deol is good in his role, Dulquer Salmaan and Shreya Dhanwanthary is the real star of the show.

Usually, we don't get to see this kind of murder mystery in Bollywood, but this time this was really an extraordinary experience. The film also has a special flavour of the 50s Bollywood retro. Giving a tribute to Guru Dutt, and covering sequences with retro nostalgic tunes, it draws attention in every way.

Another thing which is very special about the film is its cinematography. The visually poetic frames, captured by, Vishal Sinha the cinematographer of the movie takes it to another level. We usually don't get these types of frames in a murder mystery. Also, the musical references alongside the investigation keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.

Overall, it's an extraordinary murder mystery and journapost is suggesting it's readers to watch this thriller from coming Friday only in the theatres, as the theatrical experience will be great with all the elements Balki has painted with his creative strokes.
