India, UK to commence global solar grid project at COP26

India and the UK will commence a global project that aims to build a solar grid infrastructure connecting countries in different parts of the world. The project is known as the “Green Grids Initiative”, backed by International Solar Alliance, was initiated by India and France in the 2015 Paris Summit.

Facebook deletes Ethiopian PM's post for inciting violence

Facebook reportedly has deleted a post by Ethiopia’s Prime Minister that incited citizens to stand up and “bury” the rival Tigray forces. As the war-torn country reaches one year of violence and destruction, Tigray forces threaten to enter the capital of Ethiopia. “The obligation to die for Ethiopia belongs to all of us,” Mr Abiy told in the now-deleted post that convened on citizens to prepare “by holding any weapon or capacity.”

Eternals, the latest massive budget movie in the Marvel franchise banned in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait after Disney declined to cut a same-sex kiss, the first onscreen LGBTQ kiss in a Marvel epic. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the $200m movie will not be released in some countries in the Gulf region.
