World's largest Tricolor made of Khadi is installed in Leh, weighs around 1000 kg



A 225-ft-long and 150-ft-wide Indian National Flag which weighs around 1000kg has been installed in Leh. Under the current situation between India and China, this was a quiet and befitting reply to China. The event was inaugurated by Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur. This is the world's largest Indian National Flag made of Khadi. Army chief General Manoj Mukund Narvane attended the event.


A girl from Bengaluru gets The Global Peace Photo Award, for clicking his mother and Grandmother


 

Aadhya Arvind Shankar a seven-year-old girl from Bengaluru (Karnataka, India) was awarded The Global Peace Photo Award in the children's category for showcasing her mother on her grandmother's lap. The Australian government recognized her and awarded her with a medal and a cheque of 1000 dollars.

Reliance Industries led by Mukesh Ambani on Saturday said that they have incorporated into a new complete-owned subsidiary Reliance International Limited (RINIL) IN Abu Dhabi Global Market, UAE with an investment of 1 million in cash and 1,000,000 equity shares of RINIL. The subsidiary is related to oil and petroleum.

NCB arrests Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai Drugs-on-Cruise case



According to NDTV, Aryan Khan, son of megastar Shah Rukh Khan, appeared before court in Mumbai this afternoon, a day after he and seven others were arrested following a raid at a party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai by the Narcotics Control Bureau or NCB. The 23-year-old was produced in court on Sunday evening where the anti-drugs agency was granted custody of those arrested till today.


The high-profile raid on Sunday yielded 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA and 5 grams of MD in all, the NCB has said. The charges brought against Aryan Khan include purchase, possession and use of banned substances, it added.


Besides Aryan Khan, the anti-drugs agency arrested seven others who were detained from the ship - Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra, Arbaaz Merchant.
