Separatist leader Syed Shah Geelani Passed away at the age of 91, following health issues since 2010. Geelani was regarded as the father of Kashmiri jihad because of his sentimental relationship with Pakistan. Geelani was a member of Jamat-e-Islami Kashmir from 1953-2004. Later he founded his own party Tehreek-e-Hurriyat and he was also elected three times for the Legislative Assembly in Kashmir from the Jamat-e-Islami seat. He passed away on 3rd September, police immediately restricted Jammu and Kashmir and also blocked Internet services to avoid any kind of distressing or chaotic scenario in Kashmir.

Allahabad HC rejects the bail petition of a man called Javed who is accused of theft under (IPC Section 379) and under 3/5/8 of the UP-Cow slaughter Act. The man is in jail since, March of this year. The man files for bail pleading his innocence that the allegation imposed on him is false and he was not present on the spot that day. Justice Shekhar Kumar Yadav urged the Central government to bring in a bill in the parliament for "Cow protection and it should be declared as the fundamental rights of the Hindu." He further added,” Scientists believed that Cow is the only animal which exhales and inhales oxygen hence, should be declared as the National animal."

On the occasion of Krishna Janmasthami, UP CM Yogi Adityanath announced a ban on all kinds of sales of liquor and meat in Mathura. The Chief Minister was invited to a Krishnamohatsav program in the city. The authorities of Mathura were given the responsibility to carry out the orders. CM Yogi suggested liquor traders sell milk instead of liquor. Although there is a mixed reaction to the announcement, there is no fixed date from when the ban will be implemented.

Praveen Kumar is the youngest medal winner in the history of India in the Tokyo Paralympics. He had a very moderate upbringing in the Govindgarh village of Jewar, few miles away from Central Delhi. Praveen hustled a lot for getting admission in DU via sports quota. Praveen is 18-year-old, he made his debut in the Paralympics history by making an Asian record with a 2.07m jump.

India's GDP has shown a growth rate of 20% which is better than the last year. This growth indicates that there are possible chances that we can bounce back from the Covid-19 pandemic. The key to keep going is, there are certain suggestions by the economists. We are on the right track; we can recover soon if we continue to grow at this rate keeping all the factors in mind.
