200 Halla Ho
Sarthak Dasgupta has directed the film released on Zee5 platform. It’s based on a real incident that had occurred in Nagpur in the year 2004. It primarily narrates the occurrence of 200 Dalit women lynching a serial rapist and a killer, Balli Chowdhury in an open court, who humiliated the Dalit Community.
Sarthak has previously directed movies like “Music Teacher” in the year 2019.
Bell Bottom
In the newly released Hindi movie, Bell Bottom Akshay Kumar plays the role of RAW Undercover Agent. The movie directed by Ranjit Tiwari is based on two events that happened in the late 70s and early 80s during Indira Gandhi’s tenure as the Prime Minister of India. Other cast members include, Adil Hussain, Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutt.
The script by Aseem Arora and Parveez Shaikh successfully engage the audience for 123 minutes.
Bell Bottom is the first released Bollywood movie after lockdown. Akshay Kumar’s fans can certainly watch this in movie theatres with proper Covid norms.
Mukhosh
A whodunit Bengali crime thriller directed by Birsa Dasgupta recently released in the theatres. The cast include Anirban Bhattacharya as a criminologist, Kingshuk and Tota Roy Chowdhury as David. Subhankar Bhar’s cinematography adds spine chilling shots. The film has no songs, but the back ground scores by Nabarun Bose is outstanding. If you love thrillers then this movie is for you.
Chehre
Chehre starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi released on 27th August has high expectations. Already the song “Rang Dariya” is a chartbuster in all the music platforms. Big B plays a lawyer and Emraan as a business tycoon.
