Amazon and Tata says "Center's E-Commerce rules will hit businesses"



The Government's tough new e-commerce aimed at strengthening and protecting the rights of the consumer. This caused concern among online retailers, like Amazon, Flipkart, Snap Deal, Walmart, etc. New rules limits flash sales, barring misleading advertisements, and mandating a complaints system, among other proposals. All these limitations will force online retailing companies to review their business structure. TATA, AMAZON, and RELIANCE have shown concern because this will question their business models.

1st July is celebrated as Doctors’ Day to honor Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a legendary physician and West Bengal's second Chief Minister who was born on this date in 1882 and died on the same day in 1962, aged 80. CJI N.V. Raman expressed concern at the lack of government priority for health and care and at the ways doctors were being treated in the country for someone else's failure. On the event of doctors' day, CJI said that only one service which saved millions of lives today was doctors service towards the Nation and in return, they were treated miserably, their salaries were insufficient, they were attacked, abused, questioned and what not. "One can only understand the real struggle of doctors when they see them working in PPE kits for 24 hours at a stretch without any break or proper food. Here, I pay tribute to all the doctors for working selflessly for us and we can only celebrate doctor's day properly when they are being acknowledged properly


 Covaxin Phase-3 trial data, claims 77.8% efficacy



On July 3rd Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech India Ltd (BBIL) released the long-awaited results of the Phase-3 trial of Covaxin. It involved nearly 25,800 volunteers spanning 25 hospitals across the country. Along with partner scientists at the Indian Council of Medical Research, the BBIL said the vaccine had an overall efficacy of 77.8% against symptomatic COVID. This is higher than the overall 70.4% efficacy reported from the Phase-3 trial results of the AstraZeneca (Covishield) vaccine published in Lancet in January.

After India's losses, the ICC WC to New Zealand people started to target Captain Kohli for the loss. Indian Cricket team lost the match by 8 wickets. After the game, New Zealand Captain Kane Williamson was praised in and around the world whereas, Kohli was questioned on his abilities. In a media interaction, KL Rahul Indian Batsman said "Kohli operates at 200% and inspires the team to do so". These were the word of appreciation for Captain Kohli.

West Bengal extends its lockdown till the 15th of July, Karnataka cases curbs, night curfew lifted, and progressive decline in the number of cases in Northeast says Jitendra Singh. Vaccination drive has started and is expanding in and around the country with the highest proximity of vaccinating the whole population as soon as possible, Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujrat, Rajasthan, J&K, West Bengal along with northeastern states are continuing with the vaccination drive some are under strict lockdown, some are given a little allowance, cases are coming down seems like India is leading towards better.
